Sri Lanka Day 2026 Brings Food, Culture and Crafts Together in Auckland A day of Sri Lankan food, cultural performances, crafts and family activities is coming to Auckland on Sunday 25 October. Sri Lanka Day 2026, organised by the New Zealand Sri Lanka Foundation, will bring the community together at Wesley Community Centre, with stalls and activities planned from 9am to 3pm. The event is billed as an entertaining family day, with Sri Lankan food, clothing and crafts for sale, cultural dance and music, and activities for children. Visitors will also have the opportunity to meet travel, insurance and property agents. For Sri Lankans in New Zealand, and others interested in Sri Lankan culture, the gathering offers a chance to enjoy familiar traditions, discover local businesses and spend time with the wider Sri Lankan community in Auckland.
